I guess I can see now why that would be true. Still, every time I see a movie with Nicholas Cage in it, I think "oh yeah, him again," and feel like I can anticipate some of what he will do. Maybe I am watching the wrong ones.
(can anyone else find the reason why that sentence sounds wrong? I mean the 1st one.)

I totally agree with your post, Sterling. I have noticed that many actors possess the ability to act but not to capture your attention so completely that you forget who they are. The ones who do possess this quality literally become the characters they are playing.
